A group of National Presto cooker booklets with their warranty inserts, covering pressure cooking from the mid 1950s forward. The Presto Cooker Instructions, Recipes, Time Tables booklet carries a 1955 copyright on its contents page, and the New Presto Cooker booklet gives instructions and cooking time tables for models 204 and 206.
The third booklet is the National Presto Cooker Recipe Book for models 103, 104 and 106, from the National Pressure Cooker Company in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, with a scalloped tan label and Presto in red script over a vegetable photograph. Its cover carries pencil dates of May 15, 1955 and Mar 28, 1958, and its back cover advertises the Presto Vapor-Steam Iron, the Presto Dixie-Fryer, and the Presto Golden-Range Toaster.
The group also includes folded warranty inserts, one of them titled Your Presto Cooker Warranty, and a pink IMPORTANT slip stapled at the top edge of one booklet. Pages are toned and corners are bumped, with a stain on the Soup and Chowder Recipes page.
