Refund and Return Policy
Every item at Reading Vintage is honestly described, carefully packed, and shipped with care. These are vintage, previously loved pieces, so some age-related wear is normal. I show and describe each item clearly, flaws included, so you know what you're getting before you buy.
If something isn't right
If your order arrives materially different from the listing, or damaged in transit, contact me within 7 days of delivery. Please include a photo of the item and the packaging. I'll make it right with a return, a refund, or another fair solution. When the problem is on my end, I cover return shipping.
Changed your mind?
You can return an item within 30 days of delivery. Please contact me first. Return shipping is your responsibility, and the item must come back in the same condition you received it.
How returns work
Please contact me before sending anything back. Pack the item as carefully as I packed it for you. Once it arrives, I'll check it against the original listing photos and description. If approved, your refund goes to your original payment method. Credit card refunds can take 5 to 10 business days to show on your statement.
If a return arrives with postage due, that amount will be deducted from your refund.
A return can't be refunded if:
* it's requested more than 30 days after delivery
* it arrives back damaged
* it comes back in a different condition than it was sent
Order changes and cancellations
I usually wait about 2 hours after an order comes in before I pack it. That gives you time to cancel or fix your shipping address. Message me as soon as you can and I'll do my best to catch it.
I can't promise I'll see your message in time. Sometimes an order comes in while I'm already packing, and it goes out the same day. Once an order is packed or shipped, it can't be canceled, and the return policy applies.
Undeliverable packages
If a package is returned to me as undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete address, I'll refund the item price minus any fee I pay to retrieve it. Original shipping is not refundable.
