Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Reading Vintage. I pack every order myself and ship promptly, so your vintage books and collectibles arrive safely.

Free U.S. Shipping
Orders of $35 or more ship free within the United States on items shipped by Reading Vintage.

Books

Books ship by USPS Media Mail. On orders under $35, you can choose $6 Economy or $8 Standard shipping at checkout. Those paid options stay available on larger orders too, if you'd like them.

Magazines, Glassware, and Other Collectibles

Non-book items ship by a USPS service that suits the item, such as Ground Advantage. Magazines can't go Media Mail, so they ship this way too. On orders under $35, available services and rates are calculated at checkout. Faster options like Priority Mail are available if you need them.

Partner Items
A few items in my shop ship directly from partner sellers. Their shipping rates are shown at checkout, and free shipping does not apply to them.

Processing Time

Most orders ship within 1 to 3 business days. You'll get tracking information by email once your order ships.

Estimated Delivery Times
USPS Media Mail: 2 to 8 business days
USPS Ground Advantage: 2 to 5 business days
Faster services: shown at checkout

These are carrier estimates, not guarantees. Media Mail in particular can run slower, especially around the holidays.

Packaging

Books are padded to protect corners and covers. Fragile pieces like glassware get extra cushioning and extra care.

Double check your shipping address at checkout. If you need to fix it, message me right away. See my Refund and Return Policy for how cancellations and undeliverable packages are handled.
