This vintage soft plastic reindeer figurine pair features swivel heads, wide painted eyes, white spots, raised tails, and metal neck chains. One deer retains its small bell, while the other chain is present but the bell is missing.

The warm brown airbrushed color and expressive faces give these little deer the mid-century Christmas kitsch look collectors love. Display them together on a holiday shelf, in a vintage ornament collection, or beside a bottle-brush tree.

Positives

  • Both deer remain complete as figurines and display well together.
  • The heads turn and can be posed facing different directions.
  • The painted blue eyes, white spots, and warm brown color remain attractive.
  • Both metal neck chains remain attached, and one deer retains its bell.
  • No cracks or major splits were reported or visible in the supplied photographs.

Issues and Wear

  • One deer is missing the bell from its neck chain.
  • Minor spotting and age-related discoloration are present on the legs.
  • The openings on the undersides have been covered or altered with tape by a previous owner.
  • The base openings may indicate the deer were once mounted as part of a larger display, but their original use is not confirmed.
  • The circled underside symbol is visible but cannot be confidently attributed to a maker.

Collector's Notes

Small soft plastic deer with movable heads were popular holiday decorations during the mid-20th century. Many were sold as inexpensive seasonal novelties and were left unbranded, making surviving details such as their painted faces, spots, chains, and bells especially important for identification.

These two have slightly different poses and can be arranged as a companion pair. Their honest wear, one missing bell, and altered base openings are clearly described so you know exactly what will arrive.

Good to Know Before You Buy

Yes. Every photo on this page is the actual item you will receive. Not a stock photo, not a similar copy. What you see is what ships.

Honestly. This is vintage, so expect some age. When I find wear, writing, stains, loose pages, chips, or missing pieces, I note them and show them in the photos. Some marks add character. Some are just flaws. I tell you which is which so you can decide if this is the right one for you.

With care. Old books and fragile pieces are wrapped and boxed so they arrive the way they left me. Careful packing is one of the things buyers mention most in their reviews. Orders of $35 or more ship free.

Probably not. Everything here is one of a kind, and I rarely find the same item twice. Once it sells, it is gone. Vintage does not restock neatly.
