The Land that Time Forgot takes place during World War I. A German U-boat sinks a ship crossing the ocean. The survivors are rescued, but the same fate falls on their rescuers by the same U-boat. It is here that the adventure truly begins.
Despite the compass and the best efforts at navigation, the U-boat is drawn south into freezing waters until they arrive at a landmass surrounded by massive cliffs. Seeking fresh water and food, the U-boat finds its way through the cliffs and discovers a land that is an evolutionary mess. There are life forms from every period in the earth’s long history.
The Land that Time Forgot by is an excellent addition to your vintage Edgar Rice Burroughs collection or home library.

Who We AreWhen your shopping for a new novel, most readers don't imagine that you can do it in a eco-friendly way. In every area of your life you can live a sustainable lifestyle even while shopping for new to you vintage books!
Sustainable living is accomplished by making choices that reduce our environmental impact by making fundamental changes to counteract climate change and decrease ecological destruction.
Buying vintage anything is essential because recycling and reusing items means fewer polluting resources are being used to make brand new books, kitchen items, bookends, and more.
Approximately 640,000 tons of books are deposited in the landfill annually at an average weight of 4 pounds each. This averages out to about 320 million books discarded each year that are not recycled. Wow!
As avid readers become more conscious of the environmental consequence of disposable books, we are looking for a more sustainable way to shop.
Our vintage books are authentic, sustainable, and unique. So make a difference - your way.
All of my vintage books are sourced from personal collections found in estate sales.
