Ripcord by D.S. Halacy Jr. is a 1962 Whitman hardcover Authorized TV Adventure based on the Ziv United Artists television series starring Larry Pennell and Ken Curtis.
This 210 page juvenile adventure follows the skydiving world of Ripcord, Incorporated, with stories built around parachute jumps, rescue missions, air shows, scuba diving, and airborne emergencies. The contents include ten chapters beginning with "Sky Divers" and continuing through "Jump Team!" The illustrated cover shows two parachutists in free fall.
Firm illustrated hardcover with all pages reported firmly attached. Pages show noticeable age yellowing but remain readable. Cover edges and corners show rubbing and wear, with heavier wear at the bottom spine. Minor splitting is visible in the binding, and a small rip is shown in the photographs.
