Oval Easel Frame Portrait Print Woman in Large Flower Bonnet, Gold Tone Metal with Wire Stand

This is an oblong oval easel frame in gold tone metal, 4.5 inches tall and 3 inches wide, holding a color print of a smiling young woman in a large bonnet trimmed with orange and yellow flowers.

The front frame is bright with a few rubbed spots, and the glass has no chips or cracks, while the metal back is heavily scratched and worn and the glass sits loose, all shown in the photos.

The woman wears an off the shoulder gown in gold and cream with a yellow bow, and holds a long wooden staff or handle against a soft green and gold background. The fold out wire stand lets it stand on a vanity, dresser, or bookshelf.

Issues / Wear

  • The glass feels loose in the frame, and a dark gap shows between the glass and the frame edge in the side views. It may be missing a backing card.
  • The metal back has heavy scratching, silvery wear spots, dark spotting, and oxidation over most of the surface.
  • A rectangular patch of old label residue sits on the back above the stand hinge.
  • The outer rim of the frame has rubbed spots and small dark flecks, mostly along the sides.
  • The wire stand and hinge show dark spotting and tarnish.
  • The print shows light toning near the edges.

Questions buyers ask

Every listing spells it out and shows it in photos. Chips, hairlines, crazing, worn plating, old repairs. If I did not mention it, it is not there.

Yes. Every photo is the actual piece, taken by me. When it sells, it is gone.

I note maker, mark, era, and measurements when I can confirm them, and say so plainly when I cannot. Unmarked pieces get dated by what the piece itself shows.

I process order within 2 business days, wrapped and boxed so it arrives the way it left here. Don't forget, free shipping on orders $35 and up.
