This is a set of 5 vintage Mikasa Stone Manor Melissa F5811 stoneware salad or dessert plates, made in Japan, with yellow floral centers on speckled beige.
The floral centers are bright and the backstamps are legible, with no obvious chips or cracks in the photos. There are light utensil marks and shelf wear, and one plate shows a small dark line or mark near the floral design.
Melissa is a discontinued pattern from the Mikasa Stone Manor line, produced in Japan around 1974. These plates can fill out a 1970s stoneware table or replace lost pieces.
