This vintage Italian ceramic floral planter from the 1970s has a glossy ivory body decorated with raised turquoise blue flowers and dark painted branches, with Italy handwritten on the base.
The rounded rim is smooth with no chips or cracks, and the raised floral decoration remains intact, while the underside shows a ring of discoloration and rubbing from use.
Italian pottery makers used molded floral designs and colorful glazes to give everyday planters a more decorative look during the mid twentieth century. This small majolica style cachepot has blue blossoms that wrap around the sides, making it a good fit for a small potted plant on a windowsill, shelf, or side table.

Every listing spells it out and shows it in photos. Chips, hairlines, crazing, worn plating, old repairs. If I did not mention it, it is not there.
Yes. Every photo is the actual piece, taken by me. When it sells, it is gone.
I note maker, mark, era, and measurements when I can confirm them, and say so plainly when I cannot. Unmarked pieces get dated by what the piece itself shows.
I process order within 2 business days, wrapped and boxed so it arrives the way it left here. Don't forget, free shipping on orders $35 and up.
