This is an as-found lot of antique correspondence and postal history tied to E. M. Priest, Lawyer, 745 E. 75th St., Chicago, Illinois, with handwritten letters, mailed envelopes, postage stamps, and a Western Union telegram dating at least from 1916 to 1920.
Several envelopes still carry their stamps, cancellations, names, addresses, and Corunna, Michigan postmarks, and one envelope is printed for the Interstate Collection and Mercantile Agency.
The group came from an estate sale in an antique holiday box and has been left together as found. It has not been counted, sorted, fully read, or searched for historical content, and the papers are fragile and brittle from age.
