This is the Army Song Book, compiled by the Adjutant General's Office in collaboration with the Library of Congress and published by order of the Secretary of War in 1941.
The tan paper cover is toned, with a name written in pen on the front and a pencil sketch on the back, and the pages are whole with no rips or tears, as the photos show.
The songs start with The Star Spangled Banner and run through military anthems, folk songs, and novelty numbers such as The Infantry, I've Been Workin' on de Railroad, It's a Long Way to Tipperary, The Army Air Corps, Song of the Signal Corps, and Battle Hymn of the Republic. The title page notes the book is the property of the United States Government, and the cover shows a crowd of singing cartoon figures.

This 1941 Army Song Book still has its cartoon cover and its full run of anthems and marching songs, and it fits a shelf of vintage military books. If it's the right copy for you, it's ready to come home.
Every item is honestly described and carefully packed. These are vintage pieces, so light age-related wear comes with them. I show and describe what I see so you know what to expect.

Every listing spells it out and shows it in photos. Chips, hairlines, crazing, worn plating, old repairs. If I did not mention it, it is not there.
Yes. Every photo is the actual piece, taken by me. When it sells, it is gone.
I note maker, mark, era, and measurements when I can confirm them, and say so plainly when I cannot. Unmarked pieces get dated by what the piece itself shows.
I process order within 2 business days, wrapped and boxed so it arrives the way it left here. Don't forget, free shipping on orders $35 and up.
