Aqua Blue Diamond Point Style Glass Peg Votive Candle Holders Set of 2 1960s to 1970s

This pair of aqua blue glass peg votive candle holders dates to the 1960s to 1970s and features deeply molded pressed glass with a diamond point style texture and pointed sawtooth rims.

The bright turquoise aqua glass gives the pair plenty of color, while the short glass pegs allow the cups to sit in compatible taper holders, candelabras, or wall sconces. Similar forms were produced by several American glass companies during this period, but there is no visible maker's mark on this pair and the exact maker and pattern are not confirmed.

Positives

  • Graded Very Good: The glass is clean and smooth with strong color and no chips or cracks noted.
  • The pointed rims feel smooth with no flea bites noted.
  • The molded diamond texture remains crisp across both cups.
  • Both glass peg stems are present and appear intact.
  • The matching pair has a consistent aqua turquoise color.

Issues / Wear

  • The original rubber or plastic peg grommets are missing from both holders.
  • Original rubber grommets are missing, but cups can easily be secured using standard rubber rings or a small dab of florist putty or museum wax, which works beautifully to fit various holder sizes. This is what the previous owner used.

If you collect colorful mid century glass candleware, this matching aqua pair gives you two textured peg votive cups with strong geometric detail and bright display color. If it's the one you've been looking for, it's ready to come home.

Questions buyers ask

Every listing spells it out and shows it in photos. Chips, hairlines, crazing, worn plating, old repairs. If I did not mention it, it is not there.

Yes. Every photo is the actual piece, taken by me. When it sells, it is gone.

I note maker, mark, era, and measurements when I can confirm them, and say so plainly when I cannot. Unmarked pieces get dated by what the piece itself shows.

In 2 business days, wrapped and boxed so it arrives the way it left here. Free shipping on orders $35 and up.
