Ahlberg Bearing Co. Wooden Shipping Crate 1920s to 1940s Chicago Industrial Box

This vintage wooden industrial crate is boldly marked FROM AHLBERG BEARING CO. CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.   The crate dates to the 1920s to 1940s, when Ahlberg Bearing Company supplied bearings and related industrial parts from Chicago.

At 11.5 inches long by 9 inches wide by 7 inches tall, it is a useful size for books, papers, shelf storage, or display while keeping the industrial character of the original Ahlberg advertising visible.

Questions buyers ask

Every listing spells it out and shows it in photos. Chips, hairlines, crazing, worn plating, old repairs. If I did not mention it, it is not there.

Yes. Every photo is the actual piece, taken by me. When it sells, it is gone.

I note maker, mark, era, and measurements when I can confirm them, and say so plainly when I cannot. Unmarked pieces get dated by what the piece itself shows.

In 2 business days, wrapped and boxed so it arrives the way it left here. Free shipping on orders $35 and up.
