This 1932 Chevrolet Confederate Repair Manual is a later facsimile reprint of Chevrolet Motor Company's First Edition manual for Confederate Model six cylinder cars and trucks, Series B and N.
The original text is copyright 1932 by Chevrolet Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan. The copyright page states First Edition, but this particular copy is not an original 1932 printing. A notice inside the front cover identifies it as a reprint produced by Dave Cummings, Jr. of Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
You will like this copy as a working reference. The pages are clean and easy to read, and the manual uses plenty of labeled line drawings, mechanical diagrams, repair illustrations, and technical information. A wiring diagram and other component diagrams help make the instructions easier to follow.
Details:
Condition: The yellow covers show rubbing, light surface marks, edge wear, and a few darker handling marks. The black cloth spine has light wear with some fraying at the ends. The pages shown are clean, readable, and lightly toned. Interior illustrations and diagrams remain sharp and easy to follow. There are a few small marks near the upper edge of the title page. This is a used reference copy with honest outside wear, but the interior presents much better than the covers.
This copy makes the most sense for someone maintaining, studying, or restoring a 1932 Chevrolet Confederate who wants the period factory information without paying for an original 1932 shop manual.
