This collection includes ten antique postcards and greeting cards dating from approximately the late 1890s through the 1910s.

Featuring beautifully printed florals, elegant portraits, embossed details, and richly colored chromolithograph artwork, these cards reflect the romantic style of the Victorian and Edwardian eras.

Condition

Good antique condition overall. Several postcards were mailed and retain original addresses, handwritten messages, postage stamps, and postal cancellations. Light corner wear, age toning, minor surface wear, and gentle edge wear are present throughout, consistent with authentic early twentieth-century paper ephemera. Colors remain vibrant, and the embossed designs are well preserved.

Collector's Notes

Often called the Golden Age of Postcards, the years between roughly 1898 and World War I produced some of the finest printed greeting cards and postcards ever made. Floral chromolithographs, embossed textures, romantic portraits, and handwritten messages make collections like this especially appealing to postcard collectors, scrapbook artists, genealogy enthusiasts, and lovers of antique paper.
