Shawnee Flower and Fern Miniature Ball Jug Yellow Pitcher 1940s to 1950s

This Shawnee Flower and Fern ball jug pitcher is a bright yellow mid-century pottery piece made in the United States during the late 1940s to 1950s.

The rim has no flea bites, the handle is solid, and the glossy yellow glaze remains bright. Fine glaze crazing and light surface lines are visible in places, with ordinary wear around the unglazed base ring.

The rounded ball-jug shape, pouring spout, embossed flower medallions, and fern details give it plenty of presence for a vintage kitchen pottery display.

Questions buyers ask

Every listing spells it out and shows it in photos. Chips, hairlines, crazing, worn plating, old repairs. If I did not mention it, it is not there.

Yes. Every photo is the actual piece, taken by me. When it sells, it is gone.

I note maker, mark, era, and measurements when I can confirm them, and say so plainly when I cannot. Unmarked pieces get dated by what the piece itself shows.

In 2 business days, wrapped and boxed so it arrives the way it left here. Free shipping on orders $35 and up.
