This is a Lenox Rutledge footed creamer and covered sugar bowl set, the two pieces that finish a coffee or tea service, in ivory fine china with gold trim.
The creamer stands 4 inches tall and is about 2 inches across the base and about 2 inches across the rim, with a wide pouring spout and a squared handle. The sugar bowl stands about 4 inches tall to the top of its finial and measures about 6 inches across. Both pieces are fluted from foot to rim, and the sugar bowl lid carries the same ribbing so it reads as one shape. A fine gold line runs around the creamer rim, the sugar bowl rim, both pedestal bases, and the tip of the finial. A small spray of wildflowers in yellow, red and blue with green blades and a deep blue ground sits low on each piece, just above the foot.
There are no chips and no cracks. The fluting and every rim are smooth to the hand, and the gold is bright and unbroken with no rubbing. The underside carries the gold stamp with the laurel wreath, LENOX, RUTLEDGE, © LENOX INC., MADE IN USA.
Rutledge draws on a design from the 1920s and ran from 1953 to 1988, and the creamer and sugar are the pieces a service loses first, since they sit on the table every morning and take the daily wash. A matched pair with the gold still intact is the harder find, and it is what turns a stack of plates into a set that can pour.

If you collect Lenox Rutledge, this creamer and covered sugar set is the pair that lets the china serve rather than sit. If it's the one you've been looking for, it's ready to come home.

Every listing spells it out and shows it in photos. Chips, hairlines, crazing, worn plating, old repairs. If I did not mention it, it is not there.
Yes. Every photo is the actual piece, taken by me. When it sells, it is gone.
I note maker, mark, era, and measurements when I can confirm them, and say so plainly when I cannot. Unmarked pieces get dated by what the piece itself shows.
I process order within 2 business days, wrapped and boxed so it arrives the way it left here. Don't forget, free shipping on orders $35 and up.
