L.E. Smith Green Glass Turkey Covered Dish Vintage Thanksgiving Candy Dish with Frances Brundage Postcard

This vintage L.E. Smith green glass turkey on nest covered dish comes with an antique Frances Brundage Thanksgiving postcard.

The glass has no chips or cracks on the rim and the wattle is complete, while the postcard has stains, foxing, and edge wear, as the photos show.

L.E. Smith introduced its Tom Turkey design in 1943, and this bright green was popular from the late 1960s through the 1970s. The lid lifts off a footed nest base with molded wings for nuts, candy, or cranberry sauce, and the postcard shows a wide-eyed boy wrestling a giant turkey above "Thanksgiving Day Greetings," with a handwritten note from an aunt and uncle on the back.

Questions buyers ask

Every listing spells it out and shows it in photos. Chips, hairlines, crazing, worn plating, old repairs. If I did not mention it, it is not there.

Yes. Every photo is the actual piece, taken by me. When it sells, it is gone.

I note maker, mark, era, and measurements when I can confirm them, and say so plainly when I cannot. Unmarked pieces get dated by what the piece itself shows.

I process order within 2 business days, wrapped and boxed so it arrives the way it left here. Don't forget, free shipping on orders $35 and up.
