Murano art glass cranberry pink aventurine bullicante bowl, hand blown in Italy in the mid-century style. This is a heavy, freeform piece with a deeply sculpted crimped and fluted rim — the kind of bowl that catches light from every angle and holds it.
The bowl is cranberry pink and magenta at the rim, shading to clear at the base. The interior features the bullicante technique — controlled bubbles suspended in the glass — alongside dense gold and silver foil flecks worked in using the avventurina (aventurine) method.
The effect is warm and layered: sparkle without flash, depth without darkness. The exterior base is clear, showing the full weight of the piece from underneath. This style was commonly used as a decorative centerpiece bowl, catchall dish, or mid-century ashtray.

Bullicante glasswork with avventurina foil is a recognized Murano technique, and this bowl shows both clearly. The controlled bubble field catches light differently depending on viewing angle, and the gold and silver foil adds warmth and movement without competing with the cranberry color.
If you are building a collection of Murano glass or looking for a bowl with real visual presence, this one is worth a close look.
