A vintage blue Ball Perfect Mason pint jar with a zinc screw lid — number 10 on the base — packed full of a curated collection of small found objects and saved treasures. This is the kind of jar that used to sit on a shelf in a workshop, a sewing room, or a kitchen counter, growing a little more interesting every year.

The jar is the classic aqua blue Ball glass, embossed "BALL Perfect MASON" on the body.

The zinc lid shows honest age and patina. Inside is a full pint of small collected things assembled over time — not a random grab, but a thoughtfully saved accumulation.

Collector's Notes

The Ball Perfect Mason jar in aqua blue with zinc lid is a collectible on its own — produced from approximately 1913 to 1960, the number 10 base marking is a mold number used by Ball Brothers Glass.

The contents add a second layer of interest: the 1969 Michigan license plate tab places the jar's accumulation in a specific time and place, and the 1960 Parker Brothers Monopoly card is a dateable piece with its own collector appeal.

Together, the jar and contents are a small time capsule of mid-century American life — the kind of thing someone saved because saving small things mattered.

A display piece for anyone who keeps a curiosity shelf, collects mason jars, or just likes objects that come with a story already started.
