The Oxford Library of The World's Greatest Books was printed by the Franklin Library and published in conjunction with the Oxford University Press. Each volume is fully bound in genuine hand-cut leather, selected for quality of grain and texture.
The front cover, back cover, and spine are also worked in gold.
In addition, the spine of each book is hubbed with raised horizontal ridges, in the tradition of fine bookbinding. The books are hand-bound by The Franklin Library's bindery in New York City. Moire silk endpapers. Silk Bookmark Ribbon. The individually designed ornamentation of each cover is impressed into the leather in 22 kt. Gold.
