This vintage clear glass finger oil lamp features a beautifully molded pressed-glass reservoir, a classic dark metal Eagle-style burner, and a clear chimney with a decorative pie-crust crimped rim.
Its compact size makes it equally suited for display in a farmhouse, Victorian-inspired, or cottage décor collection.
Good vintage condition. No chips or cracks were found on the glass during inspection. The wick raises and lowers smoothly using the thumbwheel adjuster. The burner shows an attractive aged patina with light oxidation and normal wear from use. The chimney is clear with no visible cracks and has a nicely preserved crimped rim. There is light residue inside the font consistent with prior use as an oil lamp.
Small finger oil lamps like this became household staples during the late 19th century and continued to be reproduced well into the mid-20th century. Pressed-glass examples fitted with Eagle-style burners remain popular with collectors because they combine practical function with decorative Victorian-inspired design.
