Open House in Flanders is a World War I account, based on Baroness Ernest Del La Grange diary, of life at the Chateau De La Motte au Bois, which the Baroness made available to the Allied Armies as a headquarters and refuge.

Translated from the unpublished French by Melanie Lind, and with an introduction by Viscount Allenby.

Open House in Flanders is an excellent addition to your vintage World War 1 collection or your home library.

Condition

This book is in good shape for its age with no rips or tears. Please note the writing in pencil on the inside cover, spotting, split in binding as shown in photos. All pages are firmly attached.
