A vintage Howard Fast 3-book bundle for readers who love sweeping Historical Fiction / Family Saga novels with big personalities, big history, and multigenerational drama.

This set follows the Lavette family across immigration, ambition, war, politics, and changing American life, with San Francisco as a vivid backdrop.

Photo-verified details show matching Houghton Mifflin hardcovers with dust jackets, plus clearly visible jacket wear that makes this a solid reader’s set rather than a collector-grade set.

If you love story-first vintage fiction, this is a handsome bundle with real shelf presence and plenty of reading still left in it.

These three novels are part of Howard Fast’s Lavette family saga. The Immigrants begins with Dan Lavette and the building of a life in San Francisco; Second Generation shifts the focus to Barbara Lavette through the Depression and World War II; The Immigrant’s Daughter returns to Barbara later in life as the saga moves into politics and public life. The series began in 1977 and continued through the 1980s and beyond.

About the Author: Howard Fast

Howard Fast was a prolific American writer best known for Spartacus, and he published dozens of novels, screenplays, and works of nonfiction across a long career. His Lavette family books blend page-turning family drama with big historical settings, which is exactly why these older hardcovers still attract readers.

A strong vintage reading bundle for anyone who likes family sagas with real momentum.
