Description

Our Amazing Birds is not a bird identification book or a field guide. This is a book about birds. The author has addressed over 100 species and given anywhere from two to four pages per bird. It includes a black-and-white drawing of each species mentioned; the art work is excellent!

The text is filled with neat little facts as to the life of different birds and is written in such a mellow way that it would make this work a wonderful gift to the budding young birder in your family, even though it is certainly not been written for the younger set. The reader is not bogged down in technical facts and boring figures; each chapter (which includes one bird) is written more as an essay or story.

Our Amazing Birds is an excellent addition to your vintage birding collection or home library.
