Metropolitan Seminars in Art, Portfolio 12: The Artist as a Visionary is the fourth volume of a twelve-volume set from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This volume includes 12 glossy unbound plates (37–48) and a sheet of review questions.
The plan of the course is original. It is a program of art education and self-education, primarily developed by the Museum to help the amateur reach an understanding of the paintings that attract his interest.
The seminar was put together by John Canaday, art critic and editor of the New York Times.
This book set is in good shape for its age, with no rips or tears. Please note the snag in the cover, as shown in the listing photos.
Please use pictures as a guide. If you have any questions or need more photos, ask.
