Thanks to a bad investment, Tarzan gets into a financial scrape and turns to the gold-laden city of Opar to replenish his coffers.
Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar’ have good and bad points. On the one hand, the plot is tangled, with too many characters and side plots, and it feels like ridiculous mockery. On the other hand, Tarzan’s interaction with animals is marvelous and fun.
Tarzan and the Jewel of Opar is an excellent addition to your vintage Edgar Rice Burroughs collection or home library.

However, as shown in the photos, the wear on the cover and water stains on the dust jacket do not affect the book.
