Description

This pair of Pontiac Native Americans is a great set to display with your collectible Native American books, adding charm and history to your library.

These vintage wood bookends are replicas of the Pontiac, or Obwaandi'eyaag. The Pontiac was known for leading Native Americans in an armed struggle against the British in the Great Lakes region. The wood has a great weathered patina.

The Burwood Products Company, a wall decor and clock manufacturer of Traverse City, Michigan, made small items from Burwood, a composite wood/plastic material that can be injection molded.

Bookends serve a practical purpose—keeping books upright and organized on shelves. However, these vintage bookends are not just functional; they will also add a touch of elegance and history to your home library.

Be aware: books in the photo are for display only and not included.

Condition

These Pontiac Burwood Bookends are in good vintage condition for their age, with no chips or cracks.

These bookends are an estate find; both have been surface cleaned but may need a thorough cleaning.

The vintage items I share with you have been previously owned and loved. They may show some wear, as is typical for vintage pieces.

Please use pictures as a guide. If you have any questions or need more photos, ask.
