We can all agree we are all settling in and adjusting to the new crazy norm, hopefully finding our joy where we can.
With estate sales canceled, I have been working on organizing my workroom, going through boxes, and am amazed at the cool books I forgot had.
Explore the New Finds collection; it's packed full of all the books I have been rediscovering in my workroom.
If you haven't ordered from Reading Vintage yet, here is a little info on how we do things.
Have you been cooking three meals a day?
Our cookbook and recipe collection has many cookbooks written in the '40s and '50s, a time when they cooked everything from scratch, and nothing went to waste.
You can search any term used in an antique or vintage cookbook you're unsure of in my glossary of terms used in vintage cookbooks. Or just read it for pleasure; I found brown flour to be very interesting.
Don't forget to look for the fun 70's fondu cookbook. What a fun thing to do with the family!
As always, Reading Vintage is shipping daily. If your order is in by 2 pm Eastern Daylight Time it's in my mailbox and on its way to you that day.
The words antique, vintage, and retro are often used when shopping at Antique Festivals, Antique stores, and flea markets. Learning what these terms mean can only help you in the bargaining process. Knowledge can help you add an elusive piece to your shelves at a fair price.
Have you ever come across an old book at a garage sale and wondered how much it was worth? There are many ways to find the value of an old book. You will find the information here valuable.
Are you in the middle of your cleaning routine, sorting through cupboards, closets, washing windows? Don't forget about your extensive library of old books; they also need love and care.
Stay Safe and Happy Reading,
Pam of Reading Vintage
