Description

Jacques Cousteau published a series of 20 volumes in the 1970s under the overall title "The Ocean World of Jacques Cousteau," with individual sub-titles with beautiful photographs and much to learn about the ocean in each volume.

The books are an excellent way to learn more about the ocean and its inhabitants; I would recommend them to anyone interested in marine biology or simply beautiful photography.

He was a French naval officer, explorer, ecologist, and filmmaker who studied the sea and was born in 1910. Although he is best known for his television shows, he also co-developed the aqua-lung and helped to establish marine conservation as a political and scientific priority

The Ocean World of Jacques Cousteau is an excellent addition to your vintage ocean exploration collection or home library.
