The four bridge suits are a crimped diamond with a red knob and a club, spade, and crimped heart with green knobs, joined by a Christmas tree with a red strap handle and a scalloped rosette with a green knob, each with air holes so dough releases cleanly.

Details

Item: Set of 6 cookie cutters

Item Type: Handled cookie cutters

Era: 1940s to 1950s

Materials: Aluminum with painted wood knobs and a painted metal strap handle

Color: Silver tone with red and green handles

Maker and Mark: Not confirmed from photos

Pattern or Model: Diamond, club, spade, heart, Christmas tree, flower rosette

Style: Postwar kitchen

Dimensions: Christmas tree, the largest, 4 in. by 3 in. by 1/4 in.; the others are smaller

Special Features: Air holes in the tops

Condition Grade: Good

Positives

Graded Good: Complete and usable, with clear signs of use, and every flaw is named below.

All clean

All six handles attached

Bright red and green color

Issues / Wear

Rosette flower handle is attached but loose

Light paint wear on some green knobs, mostly the heart

Light age toning inside the aluminum

Find more like this in our Vintage Kitchenware & Classic Cookware collection.

If you collect vintage cookie cutters, this set covers both bridge night and Christmas baking.
