 The Boston Cooking-School Cook Book was a pioneering work in the culinary profession. An extraordinary cookbook that was the first cookbook to provide level measurements and easy-to-follow directions.

This traditional cookbook was first published in 1896 and is still popular today. The writer has used many charts, menus, a section on cooking terms and techniques, and excellent recipes.

The Boston Cooking-School Cook Book is an excellent addition to your vintage recipe collection or home library.


The Boston Cooking-School Cook Book is in ok shape for its age with no rips or tears. Please note the wear on the dust jacket cookbook, the pages are wavy from moister.  Scroll in and view all that is shown in the photos. 

This cookbook is not up to my normal standards, I never find this book with a dustjacket so I am offering this to you with issues noted and plenty of photos. The price reflects the issues. Enjoy!

After photos are shot, the book is immediately placed in a clear self-sealed bag, stored in a climate-controlled room for protection until you purchase.

When shipping, your book is double-bagged using kraft bubble mailer's for protection.
