Last of the Great Scouts is an excellent insight into life on a lawless frontier and Buffalo Bill's part in all of it. The Kansas upheaval over Slavery, The public perception of the Utah War gave me insights into attitudes and prejudices of that time and place. The description of the Big Horn Basin in Wyoming is exceptional.

If you like reading about the great Americans, you must read this.  Buffalo Bill must have had many guardian angels around him to survive as he did. He was a true gentle being as well as a scout and showman.

Last of the Great Scouts is an excellent addition to your vintage Col W. F. Cody/ Buffalo Bill collection or home library.

The book Last of the Great Scouts is in good shape for its age with no rips or tears. Please note the wear on the cover as shown in the photos.
