Herbert Carter's Legacy or The Inventor's Son by Horatio Alger Hurst & Company Part of The Alger Series for BoysVintage Book

| /

Herbert Carter was 15yrs old, he lived in a small cottage with his widowed mother, half of the mortgage though was owed to Squire Leech at 750 dollars, the village was called Wrayburn, there was no way to earn any money in the village, but Herbert did deliver a few letters for the Post Office. One of Horatio Alger's better books and a picture of the late 1800s.

Herbert Carter's Legacy is an excellent addition to your vintage The Alger Series for Boys collection or home library.

Herbert Carter's Legacy is in good vintage condition for its age with no rips or tears. However, please note the wear on the cover and the minor stains as shown in the photos. No publishing date is found inside this book.
