Roger Tory Peterson published the Audubon Bird Guide and was the first "modern" field guide. It is cloth bound and has a total of 48 color plates.


This field guide covers Eastern and Central North American birds from Southern Texas to Central Greenland. It was published by Richard H. Pough and sponsored by the National Audubon Society.



Audubon Bird Guide is an excellent addition to your vintage National Audubon Society collection or home library.
