Regular price $23.00

The Spice Cookbook is a fun romp through housewifery etiquette in the tradition of such books as inform ladies who want to know how to run a good household intelligently for their husbands and looking at the places which produced said spices from a similar point of view of the time it was published. Rollicking fun waiting for a bit of satire. ***A review from Kelly on GoodReads.

This cookbook is in good shape for its age with no rips or tears. Page 415 feels wavy as if it was exposed to moisture. But there is no staining or discoloration at all. The binding is tight and no visible cooking stains. This is a substantial cookbook that weighs 1 1/2 pounds.
