Description

65 Buttercream Flowers provides excellent instruction on making buttercream flowers that goes far beyond the Wilton lessons. There is a core practice of the "four basic flower petals," which is essential for understanding flower piping. This practice will make you re-think what you have already learned and allow you to start altering your current flowers and devise new ones to suit yourself.

The instructions in this book are broken down into small steps for each petal, including all three dimensions when placing the tube, pressure at each stage, and, importantly, follow through. There are also techniques for drying or freezing and then reshaping flowers and leaves, flowers by metal-surface process, rolled buttercream Calla Lillies, and several flowers using shallow and deep nails.
